Mission of the organization
The ETSOA sustains and fosters the growth of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, in its mission to make symphonic music a vital part of the cultural fabric of East Texas. Each season the Association presents a series of classical Masterworks Concerts, a Young People's Series (including school and family concerts), along with diverse special performances, community collaboratives and educational programs. The ETSOA, in partnership with the City of Tyler, also is overseeing the renovation of the Liberty Theater in downtown Tyler into an intimate performance venue.
