Mission of the organization
Organized in December 1935, the Tyler Council of Church Women is an interfaith, interdenominational, and interracial organization of women from local houses of worship. The purpose of this organization shall be to unify the efforts of women from all faiths in the tasks of working for unselfish attitudes, which alone can bring permanent peace, and of cooperating in matters of mutual concern and interest with other groups. Funded projects: Tyler Day Nursery and North Tyler Day Nursery.
