Mission of the organization
Tyler Men's Garden Club is organized to bring together men and women who are interested in all aspects of horticulture in this locality, and to encourage the beautification of homes and the community. The club supports the education of youth in the appreciation of horticulture and development of garden skills, and works to increase gardening education by way of demonstrations, shows, awards and scholarships. The club works to develop these objectives in the spirit of friendliness within this club, with other gardening clubs, including local, regional and national. The club holds an ice cream social in May, an annual picnic in October and a Christmas banquet in December.
