Lone Star Fly Fishers

Mission of the organization
Lone Star Fly Fishers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the enjoyment of fly fishing and the education of fly fishers. The organization is open to men, women and kids of all ages and all skill levels. It includes both freshwater and saltwater. Members promote angling ethics, clean water, and preservation of our natural resources. Lone Star Fly Fishers conducts casting clinics and fly tying demonstrations. Meetings feature both local and visiting out of town speakers who share their knowledge of fly fishing technique, casting, rod building, entomology, outdoor safety, fly tying and various guide services. These programs cover local waters as well as distant trout streams and salt waters. Fund raisers include donations and membership dues.

Meeting Location
Tyler Junior College, West Campus, 1530 SSW Loop 323. Members come from Tyler as well as the surrounding areas and you do not have to be a member to attend.
Dates and Times
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month 7 p.m.
