Mission of the organization
People Educating Communities About Tobacco is a tobacco coalition formed by a diverse group of people who are concerned with the use of tobacco in their communities. Its mission statement is: "Promoting a tobacco-free lifestyle for East Texas." PECAT also works to reduce the health and economic impact of tobacco in East Texas through education.
