Mission of the organization
The TJC Alumni Association is the largest support organization for Tyler Junior College. It promotes, supports and preserves the excellence that characterizes the College and its three promises of a quality education, a vibrant student life and community service. Membership drives, homecoming events, reunions and the Alumni Awards Banquet are the main fund-raisers and service projects. Officers are Roy Sulser, president; Cindy Nick, president-elect; Marie Biggs, secretary; Dr. J. Scott Ellis, past president; and Betty Briggs, treasurer and ex-officio. Membership is open to all former students and friends of the College. Dues are $25 annually and $150 lifetime.
