Mission of the organization
The purpose of Quilts for Kids is to make and give quilts to abused, neglected, mistreated or otherwise needy children who have had misfortune or tragedy in their lives. Members strive to stay alert and in touch with the community in order to meet the needs of children. The organization's work is voluntary, and donations of funds, fabric, and supplies are accepted in order to meet expenses. The group is set up to accept memorial and bereavement condolence contributions. As many as 30 women meet weekly to work on these projects.
