Mission of the organization
The purpose of Texas Alliance for Retired Americans is to organize and build alliances of community-based organizations and union retiree groups into local chapters to educate, energize and mobilize adults through grassroots activism; to make a difference and to help create an America that projects the health and economic security of seniors, strenghens families, and builds safe and thiving communities for the benefit of Americans of all ages. The funding of the alliance comes from nominal membership dues, grants and voluntary donations. Service projects including speakers and leadership for groups, organizations and concerned individuals seeking to create alliances.
