To provide complete law enforcement services and to satisfy the responsibilities of the office of sheriff as set forth by the Texas Constitution. Accountability and a "citizens first" attitude should lay the foundation for clearly measurable proactive and innovative programs to enhance law enforcement services, avoid duplication and waste and contribute to greater efficiency on a county-wide basis through strict organization and teamwork.
